In which situation is it most dangerous to be in a no-zone?

Being in a no-zone is particularly dangerous when the vehicle is turning. A no-zone refers to areas around a larger vehicle, such as a truck or bus, where the driver's visibility is limited and the likelihood of a collision increases. When a vehicle is turning, especially a large one, it requires more space to maneuver. As the vehicle moves, it may not be aware of smaller vehicles or pedestrians in its blind spots.

During a turn, drivers have to navigate the steering wheel while simultaneously checking their surroundings, which makes it challenging to see what is directly adjacent or behind them. If a driver is in a no-zone during this time, the risk of an accident is higher because they might not be seen by the larger vehicle's driver, potentially leading to severe consequences.

In contrast, when a vehicle is parked or stationary, the risks associated with no-zones are greatly reduced as there is no movement involved, thereby decreasing the chances of a collision occurring. Similarly, passing another vehicle can also present a danger, but if done in a safe manner, it typically does not involve the same dynamics of turning that can create a higher instance of collision risk. Hence, turning poses the most significant danger in a no-zone situation.
